Adult Ministries

The Adult Ministries at Providence promote fellowship and provide opportunities which enable us to get connected to God and each other. Small group experiences are offered in a wide variety of formats including Sunday morning classes, weekly Bible Study groups, prayer team, Disciple classes and recreational events. We believe that through small group connections we grow in our faith, care for each other, develop our gifts, share joys and concerns, serve others and have FUN! If you have questions about how to get connected in Adult Ministries, email rebeccamclaren@comcast.net

We believe that it is God's will for each of us to be involved in the ministries of the church. The members of Providence UMC are its ministers assisted by the staff.

It is our hope that we will not simply have 'attenders' but will help create 'extenders'; people who will extend God's love and caring far beyond the walls of our own church.

Small Group Page

From 8:45-9:45am, 10am-10:45am and 11am-12noon each week, we have classes for all ages and stages. Visit our Small Group page for class descriptions, times, and room numbers.

If you are separated or newly divorced please join us for DivorceCare, a 15- week Biblically-based friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life's most difficult experiences. There are no costs involved and free childcare is available. For info about the class which begins August 19th, call Barbara Hudson at 678-773-4656 or Kevin McCormick 770-891-1177.
