Providence offers small groups for adults of all ages & stages. Whether you are single, a young couple, just starting a family, raising kids, a single parent, an empty nester or a senior adult, you can find a place where you belong & meet people who are just like you. We encourage each person to find a small group where
you can grow spiritually & a place to serve others.

Sunday morning

9:30am:
Come As You Are:
Whether you are working, on the road with kids' activities, or have to go check on parents some Sundays, and can't commit to an ongoing class, drop in when you are here. Class meets in room 107 and features standalone lessons so you won't miss anything when you have to be gone! Questions: Leslie Lunsford
Open Door:
 A group of young-middle aged adults uses streaming, DVD and book studies. Current study is book of Revelation. Meets in room 104.
 
10:45am:
WWJD: A discussion-based class among mature adults struggling with the challenges of living a Christian life in a secular world. Class uses “Wired Word” lessons & meets in room F12.
Friends in Christ: A Bible-based class of mature adults that alternates between books in the Old & New Testaments. Class meets in room F14.
Pathfinders: 
A class of 30’s-40’s adults using book, streaming, DVD & discussion studies. Currently doing New Testament "Read Scripture" series from RightNow Media. Lessons stand alone, so drop in any time. Class meets in room 103.
Second Half Ministries
If you are in the second half of life, save the date, Sunday, Dec. 3rd for a free Christmas show & dinner at Buckner's Family Restaurant in Jackson. Reserve your seat on the bus as we go to the "It's Christmas" show at the Oak Hill Baptist Church in Griffin, then go to dinner at Buckner's. A great & delicious time was had by all last year,
so don't miss out!

Dinner at Buckner’s Family Restaurant at 5:30 p.m.. 
The show is free and dinner is about $15 including drink & dessert.
 
 

Women's Ministry Events

Whether you enjoy Bible study or being involved in planning & coordinating special events and service projects, there is a place for you at Providence. Advent by Candlelight will be December 4 & 5.
The 2018 Women's Retreat is January 19-21 at the Hilton Marietta Hotel & Conference Center.

Busy Moms' Bible Study meets twice/month during the school year & all busy moms are welcome! The group begins with Max Lucado's four-week study, "Before Amen." He shows us how to let go of uncertainties about prayer, trust that God hears us, and embrace a prayer life that brings peace and rest. Remaining class dates November 8, 15 & 29. Prayer Shawl Ministry

Ladies who enjoy crochet gather Monday evenings at 6pm in the Prayer Room to make prayer shawls which are given to those in need due to illness or grief. Contact Pat Johnson.
