Providence offers small groups for adults of all ages & stages. Whether you are single, a young couple, just starting a family, raising kids, a single parent, an empty nester or a senior adult, you can find a place where you belong & meet people who are just like you. We encourage each person to find a small group where you can grow spiritually & a place to serve others.

Sunday morning

9:30am:

Come As You Are:
Whether you are working, on the road with kids' activities, or have to go check on parents some Sundays, and can't commit to an ongoing class, drop in when you are here. Class meets in room 107 and features standalone lessons so you won't miss anything when you have to be gone! 
Open Door:
 A group of young-middle aged adults uses streaming, DVD and book studies. Meets in room 104.
 
10:45am:
WWJD: A discussion-based class among mature adults struggling with the challenges of living a Christian life in a secular world. Class uses “Wired Word” lessons & meets in room F12.
Friends in Christ: A Bible-based class of mature adults that alternates between books in the Old & New Testaments. Class meets in room F14.
Pathfinders: 
A class of 30’s-40’s adults using book, streaming, DVD & discussion studies. Currently doing New Testament "Read Scripture" series from RightNow Media. Lessons stand alone, so drop in any time. Class meets in room 103.

Sunday Sisters Ladies’ Bible Study

"The Quest" from Beth Moore
 Current study is this six-week excursion with Jesus, Beth Moore uses questions from Scripture to lead you into intimacy with the One who knows you best. Learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him. Let the crooked punctuation mark be the map that points you into a closer relationship with the Father.

Wednesday Women

Class led by Michelle Villars, Karen Holloway, and Leslie Lunsford.  Wednesdays 9:30-11AM. The study is Priscilla Shirer's, "Jonah." What do we do when God interrupts our lives? Many times, like Jonah, we run! In this 7-session Bible study, Shirer redefines interruption and shows that it is actually God's invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams. When Jonah was willing to allow God to interrupt his life, the result was revival in an entire city. Books are $14; email Leslie Lunsford

Men & women are invited to follow the journeys of Paul, beginning with his dramatic conversion, as he spread the Gospel through modern-day Greece and Turkey. Travel to the early church sites and explore Paul’s conversations with the Romans, Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Thessalonians. In this six-week study by Adam Hamilton, you are invited to experience faith through Christ’s greatest teacher and missionary. Class is led by Maria Wells & begins January 24th at 6:30pm in room 103.

In this video-based study, Francis Chan works through James verse-by-verse, challenging followers of Christ to move beyond a private, intellectual knowledge of God and His Word, to a vibrant faith that impacts every square inch of life.  Class meets in room 103 at 6:30pm starting Feb. 7. Prayer Shawl Ministry

Ladies who enjoy crochet gather Monday evenings at 6pm in the Prayer Room to make prayer shawls which are given to those in need due to illness or grief. Contact Pat Johnson.
