What's
Happening

Registration is now open to families already in the programs. Providence
church families can register beginning March 1. Registration opens to
the community on March 8.
March 17-20, 6-9pm
Free fun for the whole family
The community is invited to experience the sights, sounds & smells
as you walk back through time to a village in biblical days.
Archery,
Pottery Making, Rock Climbing, Jewelry Making, Basket Weaving, Perfume
Making,
Live Animals, Rope Making, Carpentry, Camel Rides, Family Photos in period
costume,

see the drama unfold.
If you are new to Providence or just haven’t signed up, email Leslie

something for everyone! This is a fun way to meet more people in the church
family and a great outreach to our community.

Are You Experiencing the Blues?
Stephen Ministers are members of Providence who have gone through 50 hours
of training to provide confidential one-to-one Christian care to people
who are facing a crisis or simply going through a difficult time. Your
Stephen Minister will meet with you as needed for around an hour to listen
to you, care for you, pray with and for you, and provide emotional and
spiritual encouragement. Men are matched with male Stephen Ministers,
women are matched with female Stephen Ministers. To find out more about
how you or someone you know could be matched with a Stephen Minister,
talk with Eve Hanie (770-460-5312).
Audio-Visual Tech Volunteers Needed!
If you have the gift of operating a sound board or MediaShout or you are
willing to learn, we need YOU! Each Sunday a team of volunteers helps

run the A/V systems. Please contact Barbee at bvosecky@provumc.com
if you are willing to serve on the team 1-2 times each month.
Providence Prayer Team
If prayer is one of your spiritual gifts, the Providence prayer team needs
you. We are expanding our ministry to include monthly prayer services,
weekly altar attendants and pastoral prayer. If you have questions, would
like to volunteer or have a prayer request, please email the prayer team

is a very important aspect of “Safe Sanctuaries.” We appreciate
your cooperation and patience!

Ministry will automatically move your child from The Lordwalk Sunday school
to Adventure Bay worship, so you can go to worship or Sunday School or
have some coffee in the Connection Café.

There
are many volunteer positions from teaching & shepherding to greeting
& data entry. Check out the sign-up board in the lobby of the children's
building and "get hooked" today. Time invested in kids is never
wasted!
Children’s Ministry t-shirts Get your t-shirt today—just
$10 each! Shirts have the PUMC “The Net” logo on the front
& scripture on the back. It’s a great conversation starter—you
can invite someone you meet to come check out Providence when they ask
about it. See Kathi or Teresa!

of the house, there’s a place for you! If your gift is not in working
directly with children, you can work behind a desk or greet parents as
they arrive to drop off or pick up their children. Sign up for one four-week
slot in the lobby of the children’s building.
Please contact Kathi Sewak for more information: ksewak@provumc.com
