At PUMC Preschool, our focus is on providing a loving and secure Christian environment in which to nurture social and emotional development and foster self-esteem in preschool children. Established as an outreach of Providence United Methodist Church, we will strive to promote an awareness of God and build a strong foundation for future learning.

Registration

• Registration fees for all children will be equal to one month’s tuition and will be non-refundable.

• Children must be 3 or 4 by September 1.

• Children will be accepted or placed on a waiting list by the date on which your application was postmarked or turned in.

• The preschool will follow the Fayette County School System calendar with some exceptions.

• Children enrolled in the program must be current on all immunizations. Immunization form 3231 must be on file with the Preschool.

All children must be toilet trained.

Social Development

 Children will participate in organized play to learn to interact appropriately in group settings.  They will be encouraged to show empathy and compassion in group activities.

Cognitive Development

Children will explore a variety of topics including shapes, colors, numbers and letters.

 They will also have the opportunity to experience music, art, and beginning math and science concepts.
