“Passion Made Perfect: What are You Passionate About?”
"Passion Made Perfect: What are You Passionate About?"
What are we passionate about? We make great sacrifices for the things we are passionate about. It may be in our personal or professional life, but we make sacrifices to pursue our passions. What is Jesus most passionate about? Jesus is most passionate about us and redeeming the world."

"The Glare of the Spotlight: Commitment"
Anything we decide to do in life should be done with the direction of God. Go from "Choice" to "Commitment". Once you make a choice, seek guidance from God and commit to follow the direction that unfolds before you.

"The Glare of the Spotlight: Choice"
Everyone has to make choices. Just because your choices could be "Good or Bad", or "Bad or Worse" you still have a choice. Choices determine our character and they determine who we are as a person. There is no choice that was ever made that the cross is not big enough to forgive. Remember, change is just one choice away.

"The Glare of the Spotlight: Challenged"
“...and who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?” (Esther 4:14) All of us will come to a point in life that we are where we are for "that moment." We have to realize that for "any given moment" God may call us to do His service. We all have these challenges...."for such a time as this."

"The Glare of the Spotlight: Chosen"
This is the first sermon in this series focusing on the book of Esther. God's hand is at work in life's difficult situations. Esther was chosen to leave her simple life to become queen. Where have you been placed by God, and what might God want of you? Think about this: how does it change your perspective if you were "chosen" by God to be where you are in life. Be the person God wants you to be.

    "Vision in the Kitchen"
We welcome guest speaker, Rev. Allyson Lawrence, from Fayetteville First United Methodist Church as she brings us the message, "Vision in the Kitchen."
An epiphany is defined as a major life changing event in someone's life. Nathanael was an average person approached by the disciples and told about Jesus from Nazareth. He went from stating about Jesus, "can anything good come from Nazareth?" to saying to Jesus, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel” after Jesus told him he saw Nathanael under the fig tree.

    "Advent Conspiracy: Love All"
Rejection at any age is hard. Everyone needs to feel that they are loved and accepted. There is someone today that needs to hear that they are loved. God loves everybody. We may find it hard to believe of some people, but Jesus told us "to love our enemies." We may not be able to comprehend it because we are not God. God "Loves All."

    “Advent Conspiracy: Give More”
    "Advent Conspiracy: Give More"
Advent Conspiracy is not a way to boycott Christmas. Advent Conspiracy of "Spending Less" is so we can "Give More." There are all sorts of ways we can "Give More." The focus shouldn't be on how much we give. "Stuff" can bring about temporary happiness, but it won't bring us everlasting joy. God "Gave More," so we could have everlasting joy.

    "Advent Conspiracy: Spend Less"
When you really get down to Christmas, simplify and focus on what is the real reason for Christmas. You don't have to scrap all the gifts and holiday festivities, but simplify. How much simpler could it get than a baby born in a barn to peasant parents, and the first guest to the party were shepherds?
