What does it really mean that someone would assume our punishment, pay our penalty, wipe out our debt? It’s actually beyond belief, beyond my imagination, that another would do that. For me. My debt. Yet, He did. And all because of love, because of grace, because of His immeasurable kindness. That’s what we’re focusing on this month of October. Today we ponder being chosen, being picked seemingly out of the blue, as honesty forces us to admit we don’t deserve it. Yet, He did, He chose us.
