Paul wrote a letter to the church in Galatia that included this instruction: “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” Paul states you are not saved by following civic and cultural laws. You are saved by believing and trusting in Christ.
