"Seismic Change" Our lives should look different once we accept Jesus. John the Baptist preached that all should repent and accept the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Once you accept Jesus you should experience a "Seismic" level change.

Focus on the positives and praiseworthy and you will live a rejoiceful life. Focus on Jesus, and you will have all these things and have everything you ever need.

After we get ready, we pick up the sword which is the word of God and we go out and serve Christ. After all, we have been saved so that we can be sent to witness for Christ.

    “He paid a debt He did not owe; I owed a debt I could not pay.” So begins a song written back in 1977 by Ellis J. Crum. It pretty well sums up the whole Gospel in one tidy little statement, doesn’t it? Let those words sink in. What does it really mean that someone would assume our punishment, pay our penalty, wipe out our debt? It’s actually beyond belief, beyond my imagination, that another would do that. For me. My debt. Yet, He did. And all because of love, because of grace, because of His immeasurable kindness. That’s what we’re focusing on this month of October. Today we ponder being chosen, being picked seemingly out of the blue, as honesty forces us to admit we don’t deserve it. Yet, He did, He chose us. It drives me to my knees in awe.
